In a city renowned for its flash and sizzle, the future of fintech was on dazzling display at Money20/20 in Las Vegas this year. During conversations with our customers, potential partners and media outlets, including CNBC, Mobile Payments Today, Bloomberg and Bank Innovation, we got to discuss a wide range of topical themes and emerging trends. Hot topics included contactless payments, cardless authentication, Bluetooth and beacon technology, advanced analytics, and, of course, collaboration opportunities. We also debuted our combined scale and ability as a newly combined organization, which led to some really exciting interactions with booth visitors who sometimes didn’t know quite what to expect from the new Diebold Nixdorf.
Our newly expanded company enables us to play a bigger, more strategic role in driving success for our clients around the globe – and we showcased that strength through our booth “theme,” A 360-degree View of Connected Commerce. We took visitors on a journey through a day in the life of two radically different individuals:
- The “connected” retail consumer
- The omnichannel branch manager
Through a series of interactive demonstrations, we outlined a completely connected journey for the physical-to-digital era, driven by the current and future needs and pain points of both our customers and their consumers.
The show wraps up today, but you can still get an inside look at our concepts and solutions here.
